Download Firmware Philips DVDRW228K 1.51

Philips has released firmware version 1.51 for the DVDRW228K burner. It comes in conjunction with FlashTool 3.7.1.9, and is here to download. The following changes have been made in the new firmware:

1.Write Strategy for 4x DVD+R media improved. MCC4x is optimized.
2.OPC error possibility with 4xDVD+R media improved.
3.Writing prohibited for unknown format DVD+R/RW media
4.DVD+RW multi DCB supported
5.Write strategy improved

HS CD-RW (10x) CMC, Acer(DAXON)12x
DAXON16x cannot be supported due to poor sensitivity.
