Download Firmware Philips 5/6/7/8/9000 series (Q55xx) 0.140.32.0

Philips has released new firmware for several of its 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000 and 9000 series LCD TVs on its website and assigned them version number 0.140.32.0. It should be noted that these are 2010 models, which are codenamed Q55xx. The list of changes in this release is as follows:

Q55xx_0.140.32.0:

• The sound drops out occasionally while watching TV channels or a connected device via HDMI.
• Switching between digital cable channels (DVB-C) is slow.
• Macro blocks are displayed on digital channels (DVB-T).

Q55xx_0.140.29.0:

• The TV now accepts an upgrade of the Com Hem CAM software via OAD. (Only applicable in Sweden)
