Download Firmware Pentax K10D 1.20

Pentax’s Imaging division released new firmware for the K10D digital camera a few days ago. The firmware has been given version number 1.20 and follows the 1.11 release released in March. Version 1.20 can be downloaded for Windows and Macintosh. The only change in the freshly compiled K10D firmware is the support for remote assistant 3with which it is possible to control the camera when it is connected to the computer via the USB cable:

Pentax announced the release of firmware update version 1.20 for Windows and Mac OS. The only new feature is Pentax Remote Assistant 3 software support, which was announced simultaneously. Remote Assistant allows you to control one or more cameras (K10D only) by your computer. You can shoot directly to your hard drive, control interval mode, bulb timer and many other standard camera functions.
