Download Firmware Pentax K-7 1.01

Pentax has for its K-7 DSLRs released new firmware with 1.01 as the version number. The cameras, which are equipped with a 14.6 megapixel cmos image sensor, can shoot photos with an ISO setting of 100 to 6400. The list of adjustments in this release is as follows:

Changes to V1.01

• Added [Operate at AF point “SEL”] on [Custom] menu and it can be selected either [1 Calling Function Preference] or [2 Select AF point Preference]. When selected [2 Select AF point Preference] and AF point switching dial is set at [SEL], selection of AF point can be operated priority by the four-way controller. • Improved stability for general performance. For example: when left-end focus point is selected, function of auto focus may rarely become unstable in particular shooting condition.
