Download Firmware OCZ Vertex Series 1275

OCZ has released new firmware for its SSDs in the Vertex line. The version number is fixed at 1275 and should prevent the drives from ‘crashing’ due to a certain amount of data. This bug has been a hot topic lately in the [SSD] The big SSD experiences topic PART 2 on our forum and was also mentioned in the piece Vertexing in the house on Femme’s blog. A list of changes is unfortunately not included, so the exact changes remain unknown, but the aforementioned bug should be fixed and the wear leveling has probably been adjusted.
