Download Firmware OCZ Agility2(E), Vertex2(E/Pro), Vertex LE 1.24
Last month, OCZ Technology released new firmware for its Agility2, Vertex2, Vertex2 Pro, Vertex LE, Vertex2E, Agility2E SSDs with version number 1.24. These SSDs all use a SandForce controller. The steps to perform the update are in this topic clearly described on the OCZ forum. Issues resolved since version 1.23:
- Fixed rare corner case where sequential write with IOMETER 2006 could cause errors
Issues resolved since version 1.21:
- Mitigated the possibility of data loss to last 10 minutes of real time maximum when drive is used with Windows 7 OS, drive indexing, and very slow rate of writing and drive experiences an unsafe shutdown.
- Fixed a rare condition in which a drive could hang on a SLEEP command.
Known open issues:
- SMART command B0 occasionally returns incorrect status
- TRIM command response for short trims takes longer than test expects
- Temperature reporting in SMART data not correct (typically ½ actual value)
- Slow format command in Windows using PMC-Sierra maxRAID BR5225-80 RAID HBA
- Compatibility issue with Intel 3100 chipset
- Compatibility issue with NVIDIA MCP55 chipset under Red Hat Linux 5.4
