Download Firmware Nikon Coolpix W300 1.5

Nikon has for her Coolpix W300 digital compact cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.5. These cameras have a 1/2.3″ image sensor with 16.0 megapixels on board and have a built-in lens with a range of 24 to 120 mm, which brings the optical zoom to 5x. The firmware can be downloaded from a Windows or macOS machine and is approximately 76MB in size. The list of changes for this update is as follows:

Changes from firmware version 1.4 to 1.5

• Fixed an issue that prevented pairing between the camera and iOS devices using the SnapBridge app on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14.

Changes from firmware version 1.3 to 1.4

• Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented users from turning on the camera when it was in sleep mode while a track log was active. Turning the camera on after removing and reinserting the batteries closed the track log.

Changes from firmware version 1.2 to 1.3

• Fixed: Depending on the condition of the subject, the camera would sometimes gradually blur during time-lapse photography, despite the fact that the focus would normally lock on the first shot.

Changes from firmware version 1.1 to 1.2

• The display when Home time zone or Travel destination is selected in the Setup > Time zone and date > Time zone submenu now only shows the names of major cities in the currently selected zone.

Changes from firmware version 1.0 to 1.1

• Improved the accuracy of location data in certain locations (particularly those locations where location data is supplemented with data from “Michibiki” QZSS satellites).
• Fixed: Sometimes the camera would freeze when turned on underwater.
• Fixed: The location data display for active mode showed seconds in 10’s.
