Download Firmware Nikon Coolpix P900 1.02
Nikon has for its Coolpix P900 digital compact cameras released new firmware, version number 1.2. These cameras have a 1/2.3-inch image sensor with 16 megapixels on board and have a built-in lens with an impressive optical zoom range of 83x. The firmware can be downloaded from a Windows– or Mac OS Xmachine and is approximately 62MB in size. The list of changes for this update is as follows:
Changes from Firmware Version 1.1 to 1.2
- An effort was made to fix an issue that prevented the shutter being released using the optional ML-L3 remote control when a person or object was immediately behind the camera. You should nevertheless select Off for EVF auto toggle in the camera setup menu when using the ML-L3.
- Fixed a bug that caused the shutter to be released only once if the optional ML-L3 remote control was operated during movie recording, after which movie recording could not be ended using the movie-record button.
Changes from Firmware Version 1.0 to 1.1
- Addressed the following issues, which in rare circumstances would occur when the eye sensor was used to switch between the monitor and electronic viewfinder displays:
- Images would not display or be saved correctly
- The camera would freeze or stop working
