Download Firmware Nikon 1 J1/V1 1.30

Spread the love

Nikon has for its Nikon 1 J1– and V1-digital cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.30. These cameras have a cmos image sensor in Nikon’s CX format on board and can be fitted with different lenses. For more information on the Nikon 1 series and these two models, please refer to our October 2011 hands-on. The list of changes in this update is as follows:

Changes in this version

  • AF-C (continuous AF) focus mode is now supported when the Mount Adapter FT1 is used with AF-S lenses.
  • To use this function, the Mount Adapter FT1 must use firmware version 1.10, which supports this function.
  • Support for the 1 NIKKOR 32mm f/1.2, which features a focus ring, has been added.
  • The following zoom display changes for images shot in MF (manual focus) focus mode have been applied.
    • 1× magnification has been added.
    • The time that elapses before normal display is restored when no operations are performed after the display zoom is applied is shortened.
  • When shooting in Electronic (Hi) release mode at 10 fps and with the Mount Adapter FT1, the shutter speed displayed when you press the shutter button halfway is different from the shutter speed displayed when you press the shutter button all the way down. This issue has been resolved.
  • The accuracy of the time synchronization when the GPS device GP-N100 is attached to the camera and the Set clock via GPS option is set to Yes, has been improved. However, errors in time synchronization via GPS cannot be completely prevented.
  • Please update the GP-N100 firmware to version 1.02, which supports this improvement.
