Download Firmware Netgear R7800 Nighthawk X4S 1.0.2.20

Netgear has released new firmware for its R7800 Nighthawk X4S Router. This router, also referred to as R7800, can send and receive data on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, and has a theoretical throughput of no less than 2600 Mbit/s. In addition, there are five gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which is on the wan side and the other four can be used internally, and there are two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 and an esata connection. The version number of this firmware release is fixed at 1.0.2.20 and the changes look like this:

New Features and Enhancements:

• Open the DFS channel for Japan.
• Supports the access control feature when the router operates in AP mode.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixes the issue in which the IPV6 SPI-filter doesn’t work when IPv6 use same PPPoE session as IPv4.
• Fixed some minor bugs.

Known Issues:

• Intel 7260/3160 has a connection problem with the R7800 when the HT160 is enabled. This issue is due to the Intel driver. Intel is looking into this..
