Download Firmware Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router (R7000) 1.0.5.64_1.1.88

After Netgear previously withdrew firmware versions 1.05 and 1.06 of the firmware for its AC1900 Nighthawk Smart WiFi Router, it has now released a new firmware. This router, also referred to as R7000, can send and receive data on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, and has a theoretical throughput of no less than 1300 Mbit/s. In addition, there are five gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which is on the wan side and the other four can be used internally, and a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 connection are available. The version number of this firmware release is pinned to 1.0.5.64_1.1.88 and the changelog looks like this:

New Features:

• Supports the OpenVPN mobile client (iOS and Android) app, which gives you easy and secure remote access to your home network.

• Supports WiFi Transmit Power Control. WiFi Transmit Power Control reduces WiFi power to just cover your home network and reduces WiFi interference in the neighborhood.
