Download Firmware LG G6V 05.30.25

LG has released new firmware for its 2016 UHD OLED televisions in the G6V series. The corresponding version number is fixed at 05.30.25. You can download the update to your computer, extract it, copy it to a USB stick and then install it on the television. The list of changes in this release is as follows:

• Improved screen noise after Seek operation during DASH UHD contents playback
• Black image quality improved in Dolby Vision.

• Added notification pop up for when app is no longer supported
• Change in background image of no signal screen
• Change in Amazon HDR mode
