LG has released new firmware for its DP1W media player. This device has a wired and a wireless network connection, so it can stream various digital video, music and image formats to a television from another device. The device does not have an internal hard drive, but an external drive can be connected via USB. User experiences can be exchanged in this topic on GoT. The new firmware has been given version number 20110426V2.02.20 and is 32MB in size. LG has not published any information about the changes it makes with this release, but Ccaveman has discovered that new firmware can now be searched from the menu via setup, other, software -> check for new update.
