Download Firmware Kingston SSDNow V100 KDID110225a
Storage manufacturer Kingston has found a flaw in its SSDNow V100 product line. A small percentage of drives may hang in the BIOS as a result of this error. The firmware that fixes or prevents this problem can be downloaded from Meuktracker or Kingston Technical Support. The manufacturer recommends that users of one of the models below upgrade and back up the data beforehand.

Description:
We have discovered a technical issue with our SSDNow V100 which could result in drive failure. While we have observed this issue in only a small percentage of drives, Kingston strongly recommends that a firmware update be applied to all V100 drives to prevent possible failure.
The firmware update to fix the technical issue is available from Kingston Technical Support. As with any firmware update, we recommend that you back up your data prior to applying the firmware revision.
