HyperWRT modifies the original firmware of Linksys WRT54G(S) routers and adds some useful features. Think of thirteen channels to set up a wireless connection, even more concurrent connections, a command shell and a telnet daemon. The latest version of this tweaked firmware is version 2.0b4 and is available for both the WRT54G and WRT54GS routers. Below is a list of features and the changelog of the new firmware release:
