GoPro has released the previously announced firmware upgrade for the Hero 4 action camera. The Hero 4 is available in two versions, namely Black and Silver. The Silver version does have an LCD touchscreen as an extra, but the Black version can record video in a higher quality and is therefore the more expensive of the two. Version 2.00.00, which must be installed via the GoPro Studio, allows, among other things, to record 720p video at a rate of 240 frames per second as well as time lapse videos.
