Fujifilm has released a new firmware for the various models of the Finepix 1000 and 2000HD series, namely the FinePix S1600, S1700, S1730, S1770, S1780, S1800, S1850, S1880, S1900, S2500HD, S2550HD, S2600HD and S2700HD. The firmware itself is 4.5MB in size, but in addition a separate program for Windows or Mac OS X will have to be created downloaded to copy the firmware to the camera. Ver.1.02 to Ver.1.04 incorporates the following issues:

• It improves the phenomenon that unwanted number of sheets are printed by setting with “PictBridge” function. For using PictBrige function, connection between the camera to the printer is required.
• It improves the handling when playing back images.
