Download Firmware Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 A08

Dell has released a new BIOS for the Dell Inspiron 9400 model E1705, a laptop equipped with an Intel Core Duo processor, which also has a 17″ screen and a fast 7200 rpm disk, and an nVidia GeForce Go 7800 as a graphics card. The update has version number A08 and has been classified as “urgent” by Dell. Flashing can be done by copying the file onto a boot floppy, booting from it, and then launching the file, or simply booting it under Windows. The new BIOS updates important microcodes of Intel, adds support for Dell’s Wireless 1505, among other things, and fixes a security issue.The full changelog looks like this:
