Dell has released a new BIOS for the Dell Inspiron 6400 model E1505, a laptop equipped with an Intel Core Duo processor, which also has a 15.4″ screen and an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator. The update has version number A14 and has been designated by Dell as ‘ urgent.” Flashing can be done by copying the file to a boot floppy, booting from it, and then launching the file, or just booting it into Windows. The new BIOS updates important microcodes from Intel, adds support for Dell’s Wireless 1505 and fixes a security issue:
