Download Firmware Cowon iAudio M3 1.30

Thanks to BeZaX, we are pointed to firmware version 1.30 for the Cowon iAudio M3 player. The new version is here down and weighs just under 397 kilobytes. Version 1.30 is the successor to beta 2 and comes with three new features, five bug fixes and a small tweak. Here’s what this list of changes looks like:

Improved Features

• Support for UNIX text file format in M3U Playlists
• Support for stereo recordings from Radio if recording bit rate is higher than 128 kbps
• The M3 will now play a file with a bookmark from the beginning when selected from navigator (to play from bookmarked location please use the Bookmark folder)

Fixed Bugs

• Fixed bug where some OGG file tags would not display correctly
• Fixed bug where the M3 would freeze when the user tried to play OGG file which contained more than 2 channels
• Fixed bug: On some Mp3 files the M3 would skip the selected song or freeze
• Fixed bug where the M3 would sometimes skip the following track when a large file was played (eg WAV, FLAC)
• Fixed bug: When the same track was located in the DPL or an M3U playlist multiple times the M3 would play this track only once
• Changed the way the M3 searches for tracks inside M3U playlists (Fixed bug where tracks with the same name were located in the “wrong folder” )
