Canon has for its EOS Rsystem cameras released new firmware with version number 1.2.0. This system camera contains a 30.3 megapixel full-frame sensor and can be equipped with interchangeable lenses via the RF lens mount. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:

Improvements
- Autofocus with eye detection

Solutions
- Under certain conditions, the digital horizon in the electronic viewfinder was not displayed correctly.
- Under certain conditions, the information displayed in the electronic viewfinder was not properly rotated.
- Under certain circumstances, it was not possible to update the firmware for the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E7.
Improvements from version 1.1.0:
- Continuous Shootingˈ support available when Silent Shutter’ is enabled.
- Addresses issue where an error may occur if there are a large number of files in a particular file format on the memory card.
- Fixes an issue where an error may occur when the silent shutter is enabled.
- Fixes an issue where horizontal linear noise may occur when using specific lenses in combination with certain image quality settings.
- Resolves an issue where the information displayed in the viewfinder may have aberrations.
