Download Firmware Canon EOS 600D 1.01

Canon has released new firmware for the EOS 600D DSLR. The update, which has been given version number 1.01, is almost 14MB in size and downloads are available for Windows and Mac OS X. The new firmware provides slightly clearer explanations when asking for help using the digital zoom while recording movies and resolves an issue where the camera was not recognized by the computer under certain conditions.

Firmware Version 1.0.1 incorporates the following fixes and changes.

• Clarifies the feature guide description of the digital zoom function for movie-shooting that appears on the camera’s LCD monitor.
• Fixes a phenomenon in which, in rare cases, a computer connected to the camera with a USB cable cannot recognize the camera.
