Download Firmware AVM Fritz!box Fon Wlan 7390 84.06.30

AVM has released new firmware for its AVM Fritz!box Fon Wlan 7390. The 7390 is an adsl 2 modem, gigabit router, access point up to 802.11n and dect base station for up to six handsets in one. Furthermore, the device has two USB connections, with which a printer or external storage capacity can be shared on the network. You can always revert to the original firmware, so make sure you have a backup. Updating the firmware can be done from the user interface yourself, but you can also download it separately. The new firmware includes Fritz!OS 6.30 and brings the following improvements.

• New wizard for adopting telephone numbers when switching from a landline to an IP-based line
• Multiple telephone numbers can be added at one time for Telekom and Vodafone
• Improved DSL software

DSL:

• Improvement – optimizations for VDSL vectoring
• Improvement – increased VDSL rate can be achieved on VDSL vectoring connections with 100 Mbit/s
• Improvement – eliminates FRITZ!Box restarts on some VDSL vectoring connections

Internet:

• Improvement – faster web page access on busy lines
• Improvement – VPN interoperability to external remote stations
• Improvement – simpler configuration on Vodafone lines
