Download Firmware Asus WL-500g 1.8.1.7
On the Asus website you can score a new firmware for the WL-500g wireless router. As the ‘g’ indicates, this router supports the 802.11g protocol and can transfer data at a maximum speed of 54Mbps. It is important that the default values are loaded after flashing the firmware. This can be done by pressing the hardware reset button on the back. The changelog shows the following changes:
