Download Firmware Asus RT-AC68U 3.0.0.4.378.3762

Asus has released new firmware for the RT-AC68U. This dual-band router can provide clients with network access both wired and wireless. There are also two USB ports, one of which is USB 3.0, so that a printer or external storage can be shared over the network. The new firmware has version number 3.0.0.4.376.3626 and the download is just under 29MB in size. After the update, it is important to press and hold the reset button for five seconds. The release notes mention the following changes and improvements:

• Added AiProtection with triple-strength total network security, plus robust parental controls and privacy protection
• Added Adaptive QoS. Applications and tasks can be prioritized easily using drag-and-drop presets for gaming, media streaming, VoIP, web browsing and file transfers.
