Asus has released a new bios for its motherboards in the P7P55D-E series, noting that the P7P55D-E Premium type falls by the wayside this time. For the types P7P55D-E, P7P55D-E LX, P7P55D-E EVO and P7P55D-E Deluxe the version number is fixed at 1301, and the release for the type P7P55D-E PRO has been given 1302 as its version number. These motherboards are built around an Intel P55 Express chipset and have an LGA1156 socket free for an Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 processor. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:
