Download Firmware Asus P5E64 WS Evolution 0506

Asus has for its P5E64 WS Evolutionmotherboards released a bios update with 0506 as the version number. These motherboards have an Intel X48 chipset on board, which means that an Intel Core 2 or Pentium 4 processor with an LGA775 socket can be picked up. The list of changes of this update looks like this:

Version 0506:

• Add CPU uCode of: M111067AA07->Wolfdale,Yorkfield E0/R0 stepping
• Added “CPU Clock Skew” & “NB Clock Skew” item by Hw request.
• By Hw request added item:
  • DRAM CLK Skew on DIMM_A2
  • DRAM CLK Skew on DIMM_B2
• Improve PCIe VGA performance.

Version 0401:

• To improve DDR 1800 DIMM stability
• Update CPU reference code
