Download Firmware Asus O!Play HDP-R1 1.29

Asus released a new version of the firmware for the . just over a week ago O!Play HDP-R1 media player released. Equipped with a Realtek media processor, this device plays all common audio and video formats and, unlike most competing media players, can downmix DTS surround to stereo. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes have been made:

Changes in version 1.29:

• Add support for Dolby TrueHD/DDP downmix
• Fix it can’t play some files from AV out when set Audio digital out as SPDIF LPCM

Changes in version 1.28:

• Add 5000 Internet TV Channels
• Add RSS News
• Add stock inquiry
• Add support for wireless headset (only ASUS HS-1000W is capable for current)
• Add support for external optical disk drive with homemade VCD/DVD (only ASUS SDRW-0D1S-U is capable for current)

Changes in version 1.24:

• Improve HDMI compatibility with certain Toshiba TV set.
