Download Firmware Asus M2A-VM (HDMI) 2101
A new bios has appeared on the Asus website a few days ago for the M2A-VM and M2A-VM HDMI-motherboards. Both motherboards are built around an AMD 690G chipset and therefore offer space for an AMD Phenom, Athlon or Sempron processor with an AM2(+) socket. The version number has since arrived at 2101, which fixes a bug with the L2 cache detection as shown in the list of changes below:
Version 2101:
- Fix AM2 6500+ Dual Core CPUs L2 cache information may be detected incorrectly.
Version 2001:
- Fix the problem that “Usable Memory” is unable to be detected completely if using 4G memory and AMD triple CPU.
Version 1901:
- Fix resume from S3 mode related problems.
Version 1803:
- Resolve fail to connect to internet after update LAN driver.
- Modify Crash free function fail problem.
Version 1801:
- Fix fail to resume from S3 with AMD 5000+ CPU issue.
- Fix show wrong AM2+ CPU HT/NB frequency in BIOS.
Version 1705:
- fixed problem that when using some Sempron CPU,the system fail to boot.
- fixed problem that system fail to resume from S3 when using certain CPU.
Version 1603:
- Fixed that AM2 and AM2+ CPU enable ECC function fail.
- Update Realtek PXE ROM to V2.08.
- Enchance the compatibility of some memory.
- Support BIOS downgraded protection.(To avoid the system BIOS can be downgraded to BIOS before 1603).
