Download Firmware Apple iPod 2005-06-26

Along with the release of iTunes 4.9, Apple also released new firmwares for some of its iPods. This concerns version 1.2 for the iPod with color screen, version 3.1 for the iPod with the so-called click wheel and version 1.4 for the iPod Shuffle. The other models have not been updated. Unfortunately, Apple has made all firmwares available in one large download, with the hefty size of no less than 50MB, which means that a lot of redundant data will have to be downloaded. The new firmware adds support for podcasts, so the changelog looks like this:
