Apple has released a second update version 8.1 of iOS. Apple iOS is the operating system for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Version 8 can only be installed on iPhone 4s, iPad 2, and fifth generation iPod touch or later and includes a large collection of improvements. For example, there is support for virtual keyboards from third parties such as Swype and Swiftkey, there is a Health app, the OS supports Family Sharing and the new iCloud Drive can be activated. There are also improvements to notifications and Spotlight and changes have been made, especially under the hood, that give developers more options. In version 8.1.2 the problem that ringtones purchased through the iTunes store disappeared. There is still a website to be visited to actually get them back.
