Download Firmware Apple iOS 5.0.1

Apple has released an update for version 5.0 of iOS. Apple’s iOS is the operating system for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Updating the software is easy; all that needs to be done is pair the device with a Windows or Mac OS X computer with at least version 10.5 of iTunes installed. Version 5.0.1 should, among other things, fix battery problems with the iPhone, add multitasking finger gestures for the first generation iPad and fix several security vulnerabilities.

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

• Fixes bugs affecting battery life
• Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
• Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
• Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
