A new BIOS has been released for Abit’s AT7-Max 2 motherboard, this time with the version number C5† The following changes are notified to us in the changelog:

Provide CPU settings for AMD Athlon XP 2500+/2600+/2800+/3000+(333).

Fix LAN transfer error in 96 hours continuous LAN test while CPU/DRAM = 100/133 and 100/166.

Revise the CPU and UUID information in DMI pool, and also fill in the SVID/SSID of IDE controller.

Fix the issue that Windows 98SE shows corrupt screen with ATI Radeon 9700 Pro.

Add “Enhance PCI Performance” function to improve PCI RAID performance.

Fix “Shutdown When CPU overheat” and “Shutdown When CPU FAN Fail” function failure under Windows 2000.

Change ACPI Code to pass HCT ACPI test.
