Final Fantasy VII Remake Delayed Until April 10

Square Enix has pushed back the release of the Final Fantasy VII remake by a month. The game was supposed to be released for the PlayStation 4 on March 3, but that will now be April 10.

Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of the Final Fantasy VII remake, said in a statement that his team is committed to ensuring that the game matches their vision and that it receives the quality it believes fans deserve.

On that basis, Square Enix has decided to postpone the release date by more than a month. Kitase apologizes for this on behalf of the development team. He says the few extra weeks will allow for the final touches to be completed to deliver the best gaming experience possible.

The Japanese developer has been developing the Final Fantasy VII remake for years. The game will be split into episodes, with the first part available on April 10. Recently a playable demo of the remake was released, which provided the necessary information about the game.
