Final Fantasy VII Remake Coming March 2020

The Final Fantasy VII remake announced by Square Enix at E3 2015 will be released on March 3, 2020 for PS4. The game company made the announcement ahead of its press conference at this year’s E3.

Game director Tetsuya Nomura announced the release date of the Final Fantasy VII remake during the Final Fantasy VII: A Symphonic Reunion concert. At the same time, a new trailer for the game has already been released. Square Enix will announce further details Tuesday morning during its E3 2019 press conference in Los Angeles.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an episodic version of the 1997 PlayStation game. The first announcement of the Final Fantasy VII remake was at the E3 press conference of Sony’s PlayStation in 2015. Development has been quiet for a long time since then, and Nomura admitted that the game was actually announced a little too early.
