Fighting game Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid coming in April

Hasbro, Lionsgate and nWay Inc. announced Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. The fighting game will be released in April for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Steam version will also be released, but it doesn’t have a concrete release date yet.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid was developed by nWay, who also created Power Rangers: Legacy Wars for Android and iOS. According to the game’s official website, various heroes and villains from the franchise are playable. Crossplay is possible between all versions of the game and should the player switch platforms, the progress made and characters obtained will not be lost.

The online mode offers various missions and tournaments, but the details of both features are not yet known. In addition, it is not yet clear whether PR: BftG will get a single player mode. The game costs $19.99, but no price for the European market has yet been announced. The game’s arrival in April coincides with the release of Mortal Kombat 11, which will be released on April 23 for the same consoles and Windows.
