Fiber optic provider Crystal clear is on the verge of bankruptcy
Crystal clear, an internet provider that offers its services via fiber optic, is in difficult financial weather. Bankruptcy would not be ruled out. Glas Helder offers its services mainly in the Randstad and Noord-Brabant.
That is the opinion of the Eindhovens Dagblad, which has spoken with the director of Glashelder, among others. Crystal Clear would no longer be able to meet its payment obligations. According to the CEO, Sander Waterfall, a solution is being sought, but it is still unclear whether that will work.
In addition to financial problems, many customers would complain about the poor quality of the connections that Glashelder provides. For example, the internet connection would be slow and the image quality of the associated iptv service is substandard. Connections may also sometimes not be established during telephone calls.
Glashelder offers fiber optic services in various cities, especially in the Randstad conurbation and Noord-Brabant. According to the isp, there has also been access to Reggefiber’s network since 2012, which enabled Glashelder to expand its catchment area.
