FCC Documents Show Unannounced B&O Headphones
An inspection by the American FCC inspection agency shows an unannounced Bang & Olufsen headset. The headphones will have an oval design, compared to the round design of the current models.
The name seems to be Beoplay H95, writes The Verge based on the inspection documents. In addition, one of the documents contains a schematic representation of the headset. It shows an oval design, while the current H9 has a round design.
No new features or specifications can be derived from the documents, except that it supports ‘multipoint’ and can therefore connect to different devices at the same time. Bang & Olufsen has asked the FCC to keep details about the approval secret until the end of June. The brand’s most recent model was released last spring. It is unknown when B&O wants to present the H95.
