FCC approval shows specs Samsung tablet with Windows 10
An inspection report has been published for a Samsung tablet with Windows 10. The presumed successor to the TabPro S has Windows 10 and runs on an Intel Core i5-7200U of the Kaby Lake generation, according to the specifications provided.
The tablet has passed testing in the Verizon version, but according to TheLeaker there will be four variants: with Windows 10 Home and Pro, both of which appear in versions with and without 4g. The inspection states a screen diagonal of around 12.4 “, while the device is 28.7 x 19.6 cm in size. The TabPro S is 29.9 x 20 cm in size. The display is presumably an OLED screen.
The Core i5-7200U is a step up from the Core M 6Y30 in the first TabPro. The Intel processor runs at a maximum of 3.1GHz and has an Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU on board. The memory is 4GB and of the lpddr3-type, while Samsung provides an SSD of 128GB for storage.
Samsung screws a battery with a capacity of 5070mAh in the device. This is in line with the battery capacity of small tablets and smartphones with the largest batteries. There is, however, a charger that can charge the battery with 25W.
Earlier it appeared that a successor for the TabPro was probably coming. The first time Samsung will hold a major event is in just over two weeks, ahead of the Mobile World Congress telecom show.
