Far Cry 6 is getting DLC in which player takes on the role of previous Far Cry villains
Far Cry 6 will receive a Season Pass where the player will take on the role of previous villains from Far Cry games dating back to Far Cry 3. So players can take on the role of Vaas, Pagan Min and Joseph Seed.
Ubisoft doesn’t announce anything concrete about the Season Pass. There is a trailer in which all those characters are reviewed, also with newly shot images. In addition to the opponents of those games, Rex “Power” Colt from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon also makes a return. The ’80s sci-fi action-themed DLC was a unique foray for the series.
The fact that this game experience is called Far Cry 6: Season Pass strongly suggests that you will need Far Cry 6 to play this content. However, that is not clear. Far Cry 6 will be released on PC, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series consoles, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 on October 7 at least. A short new trailer has also been shown for the game.
The story of Far Cry 6 is set on the fictional island of Yara where dictator Anton Castillo and his son hold sway and you as Dani Rojas, a male or female guerrilla fighter, go to war against the regime that oppresses the local population. With the help of a mentor, Juan Cortez, you’ll learn all the tricks of the trade and explore the open world check-point by check-point. Dictator Castillo is played by actor Giancarlo Esposito, known for Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian.
