Clint Hocking, who was the creative brain behind games like Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell for Ubisoft, seems to have found a job at Valve. It is not known what Hocking will do at Valve. He left LucasArts earlier this month.

Hocking placed earlier today a tweet with a photo of his son as he climbs the huge air valve set up in the hall of developer Valve. Hocking only mentions: ‘Arrival’, which suggests that he has found a job at the studio in Seattle.

Hocking had been looking for a job since he left San Francisco-based LucasArts earlier this month. He was creative director there since August 2010. When he left, he already made it clear that he had a new job in mind, for which he had to move.

Before moving to LucasArts, he held the same position at Ubisoft, working in the Montreal studio. There he worked on shooters such as Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Far Cry 2. He was not only known as a creative director, but also as a scriptwriter and lead level designer.
