Fans Release Beta Multiplayer Mod for Just Cause 3
The team behind one of the Just Cause 3 multiplayer mods has announced that their beta version is now playable and downloadable. The mod adds a multiplayer to the game, which does not have this feature originally.
Developer Sebastian M. writes on Nanos.io’s site that work on the mod has been completed, after some “administrative issues”, without going into detail about its nature. In July, the team announced that the mod was approaching a ‘playable stage’, with release scheduled for December 20. However, due to unknown problems, it was postponed.
In the forum post, the developer writes that it is still a beta version and that new features will be added in the coming weeks. In addition, along with the release of the server and client software, access to the api has been made possible. With the exception of a few known issues, this version should be playable, the developer said.
Work on the mod started in late 2015, and the team claims to have official support from Square Enix and Avalanche Studios.
