Fans are trying to raise money for Fallout TV series
A group of enthusiasts is creating a TV series based on the popular game series Fallout. With a financing campaign they hope to be able to raise enough money to make a number of episodes.
With the help of a Kickstarter campaign, the group is trying to raise a minimum of $150,000, or approximately $140,000. That should be enough to make an episode. If more than $750,000 is raised, the group promises to make a total of five episodes, thus completing the storyline.
The story is built around Aldous Mercury, a resident of the Vault. After getting his hands on a strange object, he finds himself involved in all sorts of adventures that eventually lead to a dark conspiracy. Anyone who donates at least $ 25 gets access to the first episode that is made with the money raised.
According to the makers, the series will be called Fallout: Revelation. To give a sneak peek, a pilot has been put online and can be viewed on YouTube. If the group achieves the funding target, they promise higher quality than the images in the pilot. The makers state that they want to make the episodes out of love for the Fallout series, but they have no further relationship with Bethesda Softworks, the owner of the games.
