The Elder Scrolls: Castles has appeared on Google Play. It is a simulation game in which players have to manage and expand a castle, and is therefore similar to Fallout Shelter. The game does not appear to be playable in Europe yet.

In The Elder Scrolls: Castles players are in charge of their castle and their dynasty, with each real-time day being a year in the game. Players can train their subjects and also have to keep them happy. Otherwise, they may try to kill the player.

Similar to Fallout Shelter, players can customize and expand their castle as desired. Players can also put their subjects to work in the castle, which gives the player more resources. These subjects can quarrel among themselves or be sent on quests to obtain better items.

Bethesda itself has not announced anything about the game. Players indicate that they can download and play the game, although not everyone seems to be able to do this. For example, in Europe the game does not appear in Play or cannot be installed. The game is also not in the iOS app store. It is not clear if and when the game will become more widely available.
