Fallout 76 includes a space for developers to test items, including unreleased items. Players have found a way into the room and have been offering items from the room on eBay. Bethesda has started banning users.

The reports about the existence of the developer space in Fallout 76 came out a few days ago via Reddit, but according to Eurogamer sources, it has been discussed on Discord servers for weeks. The location in question would not be difficult to find, but “illegal methods” would have been used to get in, something that Eurogamer does not explain further. Videos of players show how they use the environment intended for developers.

In the conscious space, players can find all items in the game, including unreleased items. It is probably the intention that developers can use the environment to test stuff, but it is not the intention that players can enter it. After discovering the developer space, several unreleased items appeared on eBay.

Bethesda is said to have been informed and have issued temporary bans to players entering the room. Also, the publisher has reached out to players to ask how they got into the developer space, indicating no way to fix the issue has yet been found.

In addition, players have found an NPC in the developer space, called Wobby. It seems that this npc is used to test weapons, although it is also possible that Bethesda plans to add npc’s to the game in the future.
