Fallout 76 gets an update in 2022 with Fallout 3’s Pittsburgh game world
Fallout 76 will receive an update in 2022 that will allow players to travel to Pittsburgh, known for Fallout 3 DLC The Pitt. Players will travel to Pittsburgh as part of the new Expedition game mode. Bethesda does not give many details about this mode yet.
Developer Bethesda shows a teaser trailer of the first Expedition to Fallout 76, which revolves around a crashed Vertibird. Later, dead crew members are seen being dragged away by monsters. In the announcement, Bethesda speaks of a ruined city taken over by mutated creatures “and other dangers.”
Pittsburgh will appear as an update in 2022 for Fallout 76. Like all new content for the game, the Expedition will likely be free. Fallout 76 is set in 2102, 175 years before Fallout 3. In the Fallout 3 expansion The Pitt, the city has been taken over by Raiders and their slaves. The Pitt was the second expansion for Fallout 3 and was released in March 2009.
