Bethesda has released the Steel Dawn expansion for Fallout 76. The publisher planned to do that on December 1, but due to an error, the expansion already appeared on Xbox consoles on Tuesday. Now all platforms are getting the expansion early.

A bug caused Xbox players to download the Steel Dawn update but not play yet, Bethesda writes. The publisher looked for ways to fix that and ultimately decided the best way was to release the update to players on all platforms.

Steel Dawn adds the first chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel questline to Fallout 76. The expansion also allows the creation of CAMP shelters, with “expanded building capabilities.” The update also includes new weapons and armor.
