The role-playing game Fallout 3 has five hundred different endings with just as many cutscenes. Which final the player gets to see depends on how he plays and the choices he makes.

In a interview At the end of 2007, Pete Hines of Bethesda Softworks indicated that Fallout 3 would have twelve different endings. The end of March reported Bethesda’s executive producer Todd Howard said they were at two hundred endings at the time and now there are five hundred variants, so reports game site QJ based on an article in the American magazine Game Informer. Before that end is reached, however, at least twenty hours of playing time have passed; according to Bethesda, the story can be completed in twenty hours, while the game potentially offers more than a hundred hours of gameplay.

In those hundred hours, the gamer does various quests for groups while playing, but Bethesda has announced that this will not happen in the context of Guilds, as is the case in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Those quests are done in a world that is completely open right from the start, although certain areas will be difficult to access for novice players, according to the makers. Fallout 3 is slated to release on November 28 this year and will be available on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
