Facebook Notifies Users When Using Login For Third-Party Apps
Facebook announces a new login function, which gives users more control over their information, according to the company. If they use their Facebook credentials to log into third-party apps, Facebook sends users a notification.
Facebook has named this option Login Notifications. As soon as a user uses his Facebook login for an app outside of Facebook, a notification follows via the Facebook app and the user’s email address.
This notification will tell you what information Facebook has shared with the app or website, such as an email address, name, or profile picture. Users can also directly adjust their settings via the notification from Facebook, so that the permission of the app to obtain this data is blocked.
The notification appears in two situations: when a user logs into a third-party app via Facebook and has given this app access to its information, but also after a user logs into an app again with their Facebook credentials, while the app is currently no longer has access to the personal information.
