Facebook is working on a feature to allow multiple users to log in to the same Oculus Quest headset to share a headset. Also, the same user can log in to multiple Quest headsets without consequences, the company says.

By letting multiple users log in, family members can, for example, share a headset without seeing each other’s info, Facebook says on Twitter through the Oculus Support account. They can then share certain apps and games among themselves. The company promises to provide more information soon.

Additionally, Facebook denies that users will lose access to their account if they log in to two or more Oculus Quest headsets with the same account. A customer service representative had said that, but that is incorrect, the company now says. Some games can be played simultaneously on multiple headsets, if users log in with the same account. A reddit user has made an overview of games that support single account multiplayer.

Customers do lose access to the apps and games they have purchased for the Oculus Quest and Quest 2 if they cancel their Facebook account at a later time, UploadVR writes. That is also stated in the conditions. The move is a result of merging Oculus and Facebook accounts.
